Chantz Douglas Drake - 4/30/2010

St. George, UT - Chantz Drake passed away April 30,2010 at his home in St. George, Utah. He was born November 8, 1991, in St. George, Utah to Delanie Drake Staheli and the late James Bills Sorenson. He was a member of the LDS 1st Ward, Morningside Stake. He was raised by his grandparents whom he affectionately called “Papa” and “Moma.” Chantz grew up in a wonderful neighborhood with special friends. He had a great love for his friends and was a fun loving kid to be around.

He had a precious and close relationship with his sister, Chanlee Dawn Drake, who was always there for him. Chantz also had a deep love for his other siblings: Halle, Jagger, Holden, Sunny, Taylor, and Kelsey. Another special person in Chantz’s life was his cousin, Aspen Brinkerhoff, who was like a little sister to him and was his best friend.

He had a great love for snowboarding and spent many hours at Brian Head. He also had a love for soccer and was most happy competing in the Summer Games with his closest friends.

He is survived by his mother Delanie Staheli; step-father Kenyon Staheli; his sisters Chanlee, Halle, Sunny, Kelsey, and Taylor; brothers Jagger and Holden; cousins Aspen and Breezie Brinkerhoff, Laikyn and Landry Paxman, Jaden and Kennedi Drake, Jacob and Brynnlee Drake; aunts and uncles Shannon Paxman (Randy), Kristen Brinkerhoff (Scotty), Kory Drake (Allison), Derick Drake, and Dustin Drake (Angie); and his grandparents Doug and Helen Drake, Ken and Judy Sorenson, and Ralph and Katherine Staheli.
