Thomas Paul Mohr - 2/4/2012
Class of 1989ST. GEORGE - Thomas Paul Mohr, age 40 - Passed away February 4, 2012, in St. George, UT, at D.R.M.C. surrounded by loved ones. He was born May 15, 1971, in St. George, UT, to Fred Arthur and Margaret Miles Mohr.
Tom was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He graduated from Dixie High School in 1989. He loved all sports, sailboats, motorcycles, the ocean, and light houses. He found a love for playing the drums when he was ten years old, and passed this love and talent onto his daughter Mitina. In high school Tom worked at Andelin's Gable House and The Jolly King Restaurant as a cook. He worked at the Hurricane, WalMart Distribution Center for 17 years as a supervisor where he received many awards and was considered a friend to all. He also drove a school bus for Washington County.
In 1992 he married Melissa Truman of Enterprise, UT. They were blessed with three beautiful daughters. They later divorced. In 2008 Tom found a special friend and companion, Stacey Robinson.
Tom is survived by: his father, Fred A. Mohr (Sally) of Lodi, CA; mother Margaret Mohr of St. George, UT; Sister, Katharine (Travis) Bradshaw and their children, Peyton, Morgan and Hallie of Riverton, UT; Three daughters Mitasha Rae, Mitina Carol and Mikaylee Marie Mohr and his granddaughter Bristy Rae Cantrell of St. George, UT; friend, Stacey Robinson and her family of Ivins, UT; Also many aunts, uncles and cousins who all loved him. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Vernon Paul and Alpha Lebraska Mohr, and Walter and Eva Leavitt Miles.
The family wishes to thank the ICU at Dixie Regional Medical Center and Ivins City Ambulance for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of Margaret Mohr. Rest in peace until we meet again, we love you Tom.
A Memorial service will be held Monday, February 13, 2012, at 11:00 am at the Ivins Heritage LDS Chapel, 240 E. 1060 S., Ivins, UT.
