Jeanne Evans - 4/28/2012

Class of 1973

Jeanne Lynn Evans Royal, 57, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012 after courageously battling Pancreatic Cancer for 2 years. Jeanne was born April 2, 1955 to Floyd Dalton Evans and Adelle Holyoak Evans in Cedar City, Utah. She married Paul Royal at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on November 24, 1979.
Jeanne had the ability to make friends with anyone, see the best in everything, and light up a room. She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter and friend to all. Jeanne had over 30 years of dedicated service to Valley Bank, Bank One, and Chase.
She is survived by her husband Paul, daughter Mary, mother Adelle Evans, brother Glenn Evans (Sherie), in-laws Harry and Betty Royal, sister-in-law Mary Agrapides (Dan), nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Floyd Evans, grandparents Elmer Evans and Hilda Dalton Evans Pierce, Glen and Grace Holyoak. The family would like to send a special note of gratitude to Dr. LeGrand Belnap who oversaw the care of Jeanne for the past 2 years and fought so hard for her.
Viewing and Trisagion service will be held Monday, April 30, 2012 from 6:00-8:00pm at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral (279 South 300 West, Salt Lake City, Utah). Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 11:00am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral with internment following at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
