Tony "Angel" Manuele - 5/10/2010

Class of 1990

Tony "Angel" Manuele
Loved with innocence
Lived with passion
Danced his own dance
And now soars with the angels

St. George Utah – Tony Cameron Manuele, passed sweetly away Monday, May 10th, surrounded by his love ones. He was born February 17th, 1970 in Novato California to Charles Joseph Manuele and Clothele (Clo) Seegmiller Jensen.

If you have lived in St. George very long, chances are you have seen Tony on the front row of nearly every theatrical, sporting, church, or community event. He could be easily identified by the inseparable stick he carried everywhere he went.

Tony inspired others with his unique personality and his zest for life. Though small in stature, he lived life big. One couldn’t be around Tony without being drawn in by his contagious personality. Tony always left others smiling or laughing.

You would not only find Tony on center stage, or on the front row at a basket ball game, but also nicely dressed fulfilling his church assignments such as passing the sacrament and performing baptisms for the dead. He loved to go home teaching. He served faithfully in scouting and in the Special Needs Mutual thanks to dedicated leaders. Tony served a mission with his parents in Hawaii in 1990.

Tony worked at Dixie Advantage, Jensen’s Vacuum & Sewing, The Amber Lyn Chocolate Factory, and Hurst Ben Franklin. He graduated from Pine High School with a certificate of completion.

His hobbies included WWF wrestling, making puzzles, dancing, bowling, music and acting. He performed with the “Don’t Laugh at Me Players” for many years. He participated in the annual Special Olympics in soccer, cycling, track, and recently won a gold medal in bowling.

Tony knew no fear braving upside down roller coasters and jumping from a plane at 10,000 feet.

Tony was very social and the life of the party. He loved being with his family and celebrating every occasion. He used any excuse to bring his family together. He always wanted to get married and offered various proposals but no takers to date (their loss).

Tony is survived by his parents, Charles J. Manuele and Clo Jensen, brothers; Charles A. (Kaye) Manuele, Michael R. Manuele, Marc S. (Julie) Manuele, Greg S. (Margie) Manuele, Bruce (Cathy) Jensen, Randy (Lourdes) Jensen, and Ernie Jensen, sisters; Monique (Kevin) Callahan, Paula (Steve) Temple, Gina (Travis) Brown, Marjorie (Phil) Pool, and Susan (Rod) Broadhead; and many nieces and nephews.

Tony is preceded in death by his step-father, Grant I. Jensen, and his Grandparents Paul and Edith Seegmiller

The family wishes to acknowledge the tender care given by the IHC staff.
