Kassie Pectol Lee - 8/18/2008

Class of 1999

Beloved daughter, sister, wife and mother, Kassie Shae Lee, 27, and her first born son, Jerym Samuel Lee, 8, of St. George, Utah passed away on August 18, 2008, as a result of a tragic automobile accident.

Kassie was born May 28, 1981 in Washington City to Kelle and Peggy Adams Pectol.

She has lived all of her life in the Southern Utah area. Kassie graduated from Pine View High School and married her high school sweetheart Scott Samuel Lee on January 5, 2001.

Kassie shared her life with many wonderful friends. Her greatest joy in her life was her children. She maintained a home of order and love for them. When she made time for herself, she enjoyed exercising, tanning, crafts, taking pictures and traveling to Disneyland and Sea World with her family. As the only girl in her immediate family, Kassie was treasured by her parents and brothers.

Kassie will never be forgotten for her kind and generous heart and her spunky sense of humor. Her personality could bring a smile to anyone's face and cheer those up that were down.

She is survived by her husband, Scott Samuel Lee, her children Jace Patrick Lee and Jazmyn Shae Lee, Her parents, Kelle and Peggy Pectol, her grandparents, Brant and Elva Adams, her brothers Brandon Pectol (Jill), Chad Pectol, Adam Pectol (Melissa) and Pace Pectol. Scott's family loved and adored her too: Kitty Hughes, grandmother, Dwayne Lee (Tala), Chad Lee (Laura), Tricia Wolfgramm (Ensign), Robyn Keil (Jamie), Todd Lee, Jacob Lee (Heather). Preceded in death by Lewis and Elaine Pectol, grandparents. She was also loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

Jerym Samuel Lee was born January 5, 2000 in St. George, Utah to Scott & Kassie Pectol Lee.

Jerym or "Jer Bear" will always be remembered as a gentle, loving, sweet spirited boy. He was his mom's best helper and as a big brother to Jace and Jazmyn, was very protective of them. He loved playing basketball, skateboarding, and golf just like his dad. Jerym also enjoyed playing video games. He attended Kindergarten through 2nd grade at Sandstone Elementary and then went to Riverside Elementary for 3rd grade. When he grew up, he wanted to be a firefighter.

Jerym is survived by his father, Scott, brother Jace, sister Jazmyn, grandparents Kelle and Peggy Pectol, grandmother Kitty Hughes, grandfather George P. Lee and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. Preceded in death by Grandpa Mr. Hughes (Rick).

We would like to deeply express our love and gratitude to our loving Heavenly Father for blessing our lives with Kassie and Jerym. They are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Both will be greatly missed in deep humility and a thankful heart.
