Sterling Leeden Prevost, 31, of Denver, Colorado passed on Sunday, June 19th, 2011. He was born on December 14th, 1979 to Betsy and Tom Prevost and was raised in Saint George, Utah.
Sterling had an amazing sense of humor, loved adventure, and meeting new people. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Margaret and Dale Slack; other extended family, and more friends than he could count.
Services will be held at Calvary Chapel, Saint George on Saturday, June 25th, 2011 at 10:00 am. The family would like to ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the organizations that participated in his rescue attempt, The Vail Valley Salvation Army at P.O. Box 2183, Edwards, Colorado, 81632 or The Vail Mountain Rescue at P.O. Box 1597 Vail, Colorado, 81658. Donations can also be made through their website at www.vailmountainrescue.com.
