Rebekah Gifford Asay returned home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at her home in Richmond, VA. Rebekah was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was born March 26 1981 in Taylorsville, UT and married her Eternal Sweetheart on January 17, 1998 in St. George, UT.Rebekah was devoted to the service of others. She was passionate about life and loved caring for children. She served in the primary and cub scouts for her church and volunteered as an EMT/Firefighter for many years.
She is survived by her loving husband, Basil Roberts Asay II, her beautiful children, Basil Roberts Asay III, Eliana Celeste Asay, Gabriel James Asay and Ammon Jershon Asay. Mother, Colleen Sadler, Father, Douglas Alan Gifford; Brothers, Isaac Gifford, Adam Gifford, and sister Ruth Gifford Seegmiller.
Services will be held in Cedar City, UT Thursday June 16, 2016 at the LDS Cobble Creek Ward 2015 N. Wedgwood Ln. There will be a viewing from 12:00pm to 12:45pm followed by a funeral service. Interment will be at the Cedar City Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held in at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 2500 Pump Road, Richmond, VA 23233 on June 30, 2016 @ 6:00pm with light refreshment to follow the service.
