Bea Walker (Adams0 - 12/24/2007

Class of 1940

Bea Walker Adams, 85, of Pleasant Grove, passed away December 24, 2007 shortly after our traditional Christmas Eve family gathering.



Bea was born May 4, 1922 to Richard L. Walker and Alberta McEwan Walker. She lived all her life in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Bea attended Salt Lake Business College, and then married her sweetheart, Thomas Ardie Adams, on September 11, 1942 in the Salt Lake Temple. Bea and Ardie have been happily married for 64 years. Bea was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, and many people were recipients of her fine pies and candies. She was always thoughtful of others and looked for and found goodness in everyone. Bea is a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; she held many positions in the church and served as a secretary to her husband, Patriarch T. Ardie Adams.




She is the proud mother of five children: Richard Thomas Adams (deceased), Cameron Walker Adams (Kathleen), Edward Jon Adams (Betty), Lynn Paul Adams (Diane), and LuAnn Ackerman (Kent), all of Pleasant Grove. Bea is the Grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.




Friends may call at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East on Friday, Dec. 28, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held, Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Battlecreek East Building, 1250 East 200 South, Pleasant Grove where Friends may call one hour prior to Services.
Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
